Furoshiki

::via Oh Joy

Furoshiki is a traditional japanese cloth that can be used for millions different purposes. Isn’t it absolutely genius? I love how practical it is, you can just wear it as a scarf and if you accidentaly and up in a market or a green grocers (which happens a lot to me!) you don’t need to walk around like a crazy person with billion brown bags, but you can just pop in into your SCARF! It’s absolutely amazing, no? And then you get home and you can put it as a table cloth!

    That is so cool, the idea of a print being ubiquitous like this rather than belonging to one company is so awesome! I can’t think of a British example: maybe tartan is the closest we get?

    Wow what an amazing product! I could totally do with a few of these when food shopping as I always buy too much! Methinks Liberty needs to get in on this back in Blighty, imagine the possibilities!
