Furoshiki is a traditional japanese cloth that can be used for millions different purposes. Isn’t it absolutely genius? I love how practical it is, you can just wear it as a scarf and if you accidentaly and up in a market or a green grocers (which happens a lot to me!) you don’t need to walk around like a crazy person with billion brown bags, but you can just pop in into your SCARF! It’s absolutely amazing, no? And then you get home and you can put it as a table cloth!

Love this print, a summer kaftan would look sweet with this on it. OMG I could totally be a fashion designer haha!!!

wow! i WANT ONE. im so into prints anyway – stripes appear on me more often than not! it would be awesome in a floral print too!
i only have one question …. WHERE can i get one?!?!?!?!

Hey Rosie, there’s loads on etsy, and I’m sure there’s some on ebay as well
That is so cool, the idea of a print being ubiquitous like this rather than belonging to one company is so awesome! I can’t think of a British example: maybe tartan is the closest we get?
that’s incredible! trust japan to have the coolest stuff all the time xx
Wow what an amazing product! I could totally do with a few of these when food shopping as I always buy too much! Methinks Liberty needs to get in on this back in Blighty, imagine the possibilities!
it is absolutely genius, i agree. such a simple yet stunning print.
This is gorgeous – such a great idea. I love all the different uses here.
Love the multifunctional idea, and the pattern is really pretty, too.
Thank you so much for all of your comments… we just started selling LINK furoshiki at UGUiSU online store from Tokyo. http://uguisu.ocnk.net/
