Five things Friday : eighteen/five/twelve

one/

A Great Banksy Quote from Summerpierre.

two/

These Nike by Liberty Trainers from Office. I am not a trainers fan but I love these.

three/

This Scrabble set.

This pretty colour combination, photo via Slothie.

Some effective and challenging artwork from People of the Second Chance. I think lots of people feel like we are stuck on a low, or feeling a bit blue. Constant gloomy bad news is chasing us around but God has not finished with us.

Out and About – Celebs shunning gowns.

I know that celebrities don’t wear ball gown and get given awards all the time but it is nice to see them in semi ‘normal’ clothes. You know what I mean – things that are actually wearable in versions that are affordable. Here are some of my favourites. .

Mila Kunis, Vanessa Hudgens, Jessica Alba

Minka Kelly, Jenna Ushkowitz, Khloe Kardashian

Rachel McAdams, Jessica Lawrence, Emma Stone, Emma Roberts.

Pictures from Google Images and Red Carpet Fashion Awards.

Don’t you just love a great jacket with skinny jeans?

And anything in cosy grey marl is a winner for me.

Me likey. . .

Acne bag from Farfetch

Price: Way out of my league – but it is so pretty x

pl(m)aylist : it’s my May playlist.

My playlists have taken a dramatic turn as I inherited an I-phone with twice as much music memory from my bearded beau.

Basically it means can be more relaxed about what I save onto my I-pod becuase I have acres of  room – more music means happier ears.

This month I am listening to:

The 1930′s - Currently streaming on their webby website

The Band – In memory of the great Levon Helm

The Alabama Shakes – Picked up after watching ‘Later with Jools Holland

The Tree of Life (OST) – Better than the film

The Welcome Wagon – Permanently in my ears since Christmas

Duran Duran – Only because my I-phone loves them so much. Everytime I set it to ‘shuffle’ it switches between Blondie and Duran Duran. Odd little machine.

What are you currently listening to?

* A little Feathers Newsflash *

At the end of January Filipa decided to move on from Feathers and left our little blogging world. I am very thankful to have begun the Feathers journey as a duo and hope that you have all been enjoying the last few months here as I’ve learnt how to fly solo.

Thanks to you for reading and joining in and stopping me in the street with lovely comments.  x
