Monday Mood| I don’t want to get up

This weekend I’ve been on and off sick. My throat is swollen up and I had some fever while shaking from cold uncontrollably. Let me tell you, it is not a very nice feeling at all! But, thankfully I have a perfect remedy for such a situation. Stay wrapped up warm in bed, with warm cup of tea and lots of fruit and some Strepsils! That is exactly what my body needs- bed and duvets and a good book/sleep. So this is my Monday, what about yours?

Monday Mood| Winter Wonderland

Oh hello Monday Mood! I know I haven’t really talked to you in a while and I’m sorry, but I promise- you were always on my mind. Life just got too busy and too hard to keep up with you, but I do truly love you dear friend. I love that today I feel all wintery, even though there is no snow outside. But I remember all those magical winters I spent in Slovakia where the light would glisten off the snow and the snowflakes would fall slowly and peacefully on the deserted day. I love that winter brings the time of warm fires and hot chocolates. I love that it is the time we celebrate Christmas and I love that it can have a special feeling inside of my heart. So thank you Monday Mood, that I can express all these feelings through you!

Monday Mood| Back Home

I haven’t done Monday Mood in a while, just because I felt that it’s time has run out and it’s now time to move on to different things. However, this morning when I drove Mr Feathers to the train station, the cool chill, the fresh air and the colours of autumn were all moving in me so strongly and I had that strange yet beautiful feeling of coming home! I love autumn more than anything, even its rain and all the perks it brings! It’s that same one feeling I get every year around, thus instead of a new board, I made a return to my last years Autumn Loving one, in honour of autumn, inspired by autumn and loving all things autumn!

Monday Mood| Hazy Days

Is it just me or does everyone else feel like it’s November, and not June!? It has been raining constantly in Northern Ireland for past two weeks, and if it didn’t rain it was gloomy and grey. Now, if I was to be honest, I really didn’t mind too much. Firstly, I have been working inside and was really busy and it didn’t seem like I’m gonna have time to go play outside, so the rain was a perfect excuse to be lazy too. And secondly, I’m getting married at the end of July and each day of rain in June was in a weird way ensuring me that the July will be beautiful- I mean it can’t rain for three months straight, right? And another, more poetic reason why I enjoy such weather is because of the mystery of the hazy, foggy Irish evening.  There is just something so beautiful and special about it, that it makes you love the rain and cold weather. How are you feeling today and the past week?

Monday Mood| Vintage

I love vintage and beautiful old things. I love the worn look to furniture and kitchen equipment. Heck, I even wear my grandma’s clothes cuz they are too cool! Cherry and I have gone line dancing last week for the first time and we’re going again today,ho ho! It makes me wanna buy a cowgirl hat and put my boots on and enjoy the life from the Wild West, the ultimate vintage destination, if I were to pick!

Monday Mood| New Beginnings

Boy, these last few weeks are full of turmoil and changes for me! Every week I’m going through something extremely major and it naturally reflects in these mood boards! So first I had a beauty filled Awake, appreciating freedom from finishing my uni. Then there was sunshiny and happy Sunshine in my Eyes, when I was enjoying my days with my friends in Slovakia. Last week’s board was full of melancholy of leaving, saying goodbyes and moving on. Today, it is a whole new page again! I have moved to Northern Ireland, together with all my ideas, excitements and books! It feels good to be finally here and start this new and exciting chapter of my life. I can’t wait to write on it all my stories and happenings! How are you feeling today?
